Deputy Head of the Batam Investment Agency (BP), Li Claudia Chandra, emphasized her commitment to increasing investment in Batam and is ready to facilitate licensing for business actors who express their attitude and serious interest in investing in this area. She conveyed this during a meeting with her staff at BP Batam with one of the prospective investors on Wednesday (7/5/2025) in her office."We ask business actors who are serious about investing in Batam to immediately complete their licensing documents, what the timeline of their business plan is like, and their commitment to contribute to developing their area by paying attention to various aspects, especially supporting infrastructure such as utilities and drainage so that in the future there will be no more problems such as flooding that has often occurred recently," said Li Claudia. “If the documents are complete, the commitment is there, we are ready to facilitate all the permits to accelerate the realization of the investment," she continued.
Li Claudia also appealed to business actors in Batam to report their business progress to BP Batam so that if there are obstacles in its implementation, she together with the Head of BP Batam, Amsakar Achmad and staff can immediately provide solutions to maintain a conducive investment climate. "We thank business actors who are willing to come regularly to BP Batam to report their business progress, so that BP Batam together with these business actors can continue to synergize and collaborate to advance investment in Batam," concluded Li Claudia.
