On 30 April 2025, Tanjung Priok Customs facilitated the export process of 10,000 tonnes of zinc-coated (galvanised) steel products worth USD 10 million to the United States market. These products were owned by PT Arcelor Mittal Nippon Steel Indonesia (PT AM/NS Indonesia). The export was completed at a time when the US Government had imposed an import tariff of 25 per cent on foreign steel products under Section 232 of the trade policy, on the grounds of safeguarding national security. This export activity is one of the company's strategic achievements, aimed at expanding market reach and strengthening its position in the global market.
