The Hong Kong-Indonesia Partnership for Sustainable Growth held on April 28th, 2025 at the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) is a strategic forum bringing together dozens of leading companies. Especially companies that are already listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKEX), with key stakeholders in Indonesia. This event aims to encourage sustainable economic growth through mutually beneficial partnerships between two dynamic markets in Asia: Hong Kong and Indonesia. This event is also the result of collaboration between the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), National University of Singapore (NUS), MVGX Tech Pte Ltd (MVGX), and BDO in Indonesia.
"This event is a forum to bring together Indonesia's great potential with entrepreneurs from Hong Kong. Where it opens up opportunities for in-depth dialogue, strategic networking, and long-term business collaboration," said Iman Rachman as President Director of PT Bursa Efek Indonesia (IDX), Monday (05/05/2025) in Jakarta. In a discussion session with the theme Navigating Growth and Sustainability in Indonesia: Opportunities, Challenges, and the Road to Net Zero. There are three main topics discussed, namely: banking and investment opportunities in Indonesia, with a focus on the growth of digital banking, financing opportunities, and the role of financial institutions. This activity is to support sustainable economic development; decarbonization and sustainability in Indonesia. Including the government's commitment to reducing carbon emissions and adopting green technology; and the challenges of doing business in Indonesia, including regulatory issues, logistics. Even strategies in understanding and navigating the local cultural and market context, explained Iman. Through the Indonesia Investment Outlook 2025 event, the Hong Kong-Indonesia Partnership,it is hoped that long-term cooperation will be created that encourages increased foreign direct investment.
