Customs continuously intensifies export assistance for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Through Export Clinic activities and intensive assistance, Customs in various regions such as Cilacap, Tarakan, and Jember demonstrate their commitment to encouraging MSMEs to be able to compete in the global market. Cilacap Customs held an Export Clinic activity as part of an effort to encourage the development of local industry.
On Tuesday (29/4/2025), the Export Clinic team made a direct visit to three MSMEs with export potential in the Kebumen area, namely PT Mustika Rudraksa, UD Pancuran Mas, and PT Mbakyu Klenteng Indonesia. The visit aimed to provide education, assistance, and direct consultation sessions related to export procedures and customs issues. The three MSMEs visited had various stages of export readiness. PT Mustika Rudraksa is preparing independent exports to China and India. PT Mbakyu Klenteng Indonesia is exploring business matching for specialty food products, and UD Pancuran Mas is trying to bounce back into the export market after being impacted by the pandemic and global conflict.
On Wednesday (30/4/2025), Tarakan Customs carried out assistance activities for fostered MSMEs, namely PT Ba Lamok King Food, which is engaged in seafood processing. This activity is part of the Strategic Initiative of the Customs and Excise Reform Program and the Development and Empowerment of MSMEs. Through this assistance, Tarakan Customs seeks to create resilient and independent MSMEs in facing the export market. Concrete support such as understanding regulations, mapping market potential, and international marketing strategies are the main focus of this activity. This activity not only targets technical understanding, but also builds an export mindset among MSME actors. In addition, this program is designed so that MSMEs are not only ready in terms of products, but also in terms of administration and overseas business networks.
