Jambi Customs participated in the ceremonial release of 36 tons of areca nuts for export to Bangladesh by PT Export Tani Nusantara. The event took place on Thursday, April 24, 2025, at Talang Duku Port, Jambi Province, and was attended by various stakeholders, including the Governor of Jambi, representatives from IPB University, local government officials, related agencies, and business actors.
PT Export Tani Nusantara is a partner of the Agro-Maritime Community Development Directorate (DPMA) of IPB University, utilizing the One Village One CEO (OVOC) program. This initiative aims to build integrated rural business ecosystems by empowering village-owned enterprises (BUMDes) and promoting village flagship products (Prukades). Benny Mauritz Simatupang, Head of Public Outreach and Information Services at Jambi Customs, highlighted that the export success reflects the competitiveness of local industries. He reaffirmed Customs' commitment to supporting smooth export processes and helping local MSMEs reach global markets.
