Chairman of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin), Anindya Novyan Bakrie, expressed full support for the downstream development and export of NTT’s agricultural products. During a product export launch event in Kupang, Anindya celebrated the global shipment of locally processed moringa and chocolate by MSMEs, noting this milestone as a sign of NTT’s significant agricultural potential. La Moringa, exporting moringa products for the fifth time since June 2024, has now reached new markets including Qatar, Australia, Singapore, and Hong Kong. Meanwhile, chocolate products from Ghaura also joined the export shipment. Anindya emphasized the importance of seeking fresh export markets, especially amid current global trade tensions. He praised La Moringa’s achievements as a model for other local businesses to follow.
The event also saw the signing of a collaboration agreement between PT Beta Moringa Indonesia (a moringa-processing MSME) and GS Organik (a farmer group), facilitated by Bank Indonesia's NTT office. Anindya called this a promising step towards boosting local economic growth through agricultural value chains. He encouraged local entrepreneurs, especially NTT's younger generation, to seize opportunities in downstream agribusiness. He also urged exploration in sectors beyond agriculture—such as fisheries, aquaculture, and tourism—recognizing NTT’s rich natural potential.
