During his official visit to the Central Sulawesi Land Office, Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN), Nusron Wahid, reaffirmed his commitment to advancing regional economic growth through productive land use. He stressed that sustainable business activities require accessible and efficiently utilized land. He warned against land being held by a few corporations while remaining idle, limiting community access and opportunity.
Minister Nusron announced plans to evaluate land rights, particularly Hak Guna Usaha (HGU), ensuring lands are being used as intended and support downstream industrial activities. He praised the positive economic impact of industrial downstreaming in the region and encouraged development beyond the mining sector to promote more inclusive prosperity. To enhance legal certainty and prevent disputes, he also urged landowners to register their properties at local land offices. As part of his visit, Nusron held meetings with regional land office leaders and distributed land certificates for five places of worship in Palu and Sigi. He also signed a commemorative plaque for the Nurul Ikhlas Mosque, highlighting the government’s support for religious and community infrastructure.
