Banda Aceh – The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Aceh reported that the province has exported coffee worth USD 6.25 million to the United States, with coffee being one of the key export commodities, totaling USD 12.83 million. In February 2025, the total export value of goods from Aceh reached USD 53.94 million, an increase of 6.08% compared to January. The largest export commodity group was mineral fuels, amounting to USD 33.83 million, primarily coal. Other significant exports included coffee (23.79%) and various chemical products (2.53%). The main export destinations in February were India, which imported USD 32.21 million worth of coal, followed by the United States for coffee, and Japan for woven goods. Exports through Aceh’s ports accounted for USD 38.02 million (70.49%), while the rest were shipped through ports in other provinces, including North Sumatra. Imports in February totaled USD 73.16 million, with the largest portion coming from mineral fuels and gas.
