PT Perusahaan Perdagangan Indonesia (PPI) has exported 79.2 metric tons of robusta green bean coffee from Lampung to Egypt, marking a strategic move to expand Indonesia’s coffee market in the Middle East. This initiative involves collaboration with strategic trade partners and local farmers in Lampung, ensuring that the exported coffee meets international quality standards while directly benefiting farmers. With support from the Indonesian Ambassador to Egypt, Lutfi Rauf, and Trade Attaché M. Syahran Bhakti, PPI continues to bridge trade opportunities between Indonesia and Egypt.
In 2025, PPI successfully exported a total of 158.4 metric tons of coffee and remains committed to strengthening global partnerships. Additionally, PPI has collaborated with the Indonesian Export Financing Agency (LPEI) to train 165 MSMEs through the "UMKM Level Up" program, equipping them with export knowledge and market insights. This initiative aligns with PPI’s mission to enhance coffee trade activities, optimize supply chains, and empower local businesses, ultimately boosting Indonesia’s competitiveness in the global market.
