PT Anugerah Andalan Asia is planning to invest IDR 6 trillion in the construction of a cement factory in Pracimantoro, Wonogiri Regency. The project, predicted to create 2,400 job opportunities during the construction and operational phases, aligns with the Central Java region's strategic investment focus on high-poverty areas like Wonogiri, aiming to stimulate economic growth and provide tangible benefits to the community. The investment plan has progressed to the land acquisition and licensing stage, and construction is scheduled to commence in 2026. In alignment with its commitment to community empowerment, PT Anugerah Andalan Asia has included provisions in its Environmental Impact Assessment (AMDAL) document, such as allowing Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) to utilise company trucks for their operations, engaging mothers of Family Welfare Empowerment (PKK) to manage employee catering, and utilising local sewing entrepreneurs to produce employee uniforms.
