Bandung Mayor Muhammad Farhan ensures that the creative economy ecosystem in Bandung City will continue to grow. Therefore, relevant agencies are required to support the development of business actors. He emphasized that the government's role is to build a strong economic ecosystem, ensuring that businesses have ample space and the necessary stimulants for economic cycles and industrial growth. Speaking at the Rame Rame Market Bandung event at Kiara Artha Park on Friday (3/14/2025), Farhan highlighted the importance of long-term banking operations and network infrastructure to support economic development in the city.
Furthermore, Farhan stressed the necessity of halal certification across various industries, not just in the culinary sector. He pointed out that even fabrics should be certified, questioning the implications of using non-halal dyes. According to him, halal certification serves as a protection for creative industry players, enabling them to compete with international markets. Meanwhile, Aditi Erlangi, Chairperson of the Rame Rame Market 2025 Committee, shared that the event started as a small initiative with just 11 brands but has now expanded to 36 brands from Bandung and Jakarta. She hopes that the three-day event, running from March 14-16, will bring enthusiasm and lasting support from the fashion industry and the government.
