The National Economic Council (DEN) Chairman Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan and Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto have agreed to establish a special task force to evaluate regulations that may hinder investment in Indonesia. This initiative aims to create a more investor-friendly climate amid global economic shifts.
The team will begin its work immediately, reviewing outdated or restrictive regulations and proposing necessary changes to President Prabowo Subianto. The initiative aligns with Indonesia’s goal of achieving 8% economic growth through strategies such as industrial revitalization, investment acceleration, and digital infrastructure development. Strong collaboration between DEN, the Ministry of Economic Affairs, and other relevant institutions is expected to drive national economic growth and improve public welfare.
