The Financial Services Authority (OJK) of Central Sulawesi is actively strengthening its role in regional economic development. Through the Financial Sector Development and Strengthening Law (UU P2SK), OJK collaborates with local governments to map economic potential, particularly focusing on key commodities like durian and cocoa. By improving financial access, the initiative aims to enhance competitiveness and create new business opportunities.
OJK Sulteng has engaged with local stakeholders, including government agencies and industry associations, to support durian exports and business growth. Meetings with state-owned banks and rural banks (BPR) were held to facilitate financing for durian farmers and businesses. This initiative is expected to accelerate regional economic progress and open more sustainable financial opportunities for local entrepreneurs.
