To support the government’s Asta Cita and Dasa Cita programs, Bank Indonesia (BI) NTT strengthens synergy to drive MSME and Islamic economy development. Aligning MSME and Islamic Economic (Eksyar) programs with regional government initiatives is key to realizing a prosperous and advanced NTT.
BI NTT applies the 35 Strategy (Synergizing, Strategizing, Strengthening) to develop 42 assisted MSMEs and enhance their market reach, especially in halal food, beverages, and modest fashion. Through collaboration with local governments, academics, and financial institutions, BI NTT builds a supportive ecosystem for MSMEs, including training, certification, and business matching. Partnering with Sinode GMIT, BI also extends economic empowerment to rural communities, focusing on agriculture, food processing, and tourism—sectors that absorb over 50% of the workforce and significantly contribute to NTT’s economy.
