OIKN Collaborates with Private Sector to Pursue IDR 60.9 Trillion Investment, Here are the Projects

The Indonesian Capital City Authority (OIKN) is targeting an investment of IDR 60.93 trillion to build the residential sector in the IKN. The investment still requires government support because it is in the form of government and business entity cooperation (KPBU). Head of OIKN Basuki Hadimuljono said that for the residential sector, the projects to be built are 97 tower apartments and 129 landed houses. The project has an investment value of IDR 69.93 trillion and has completed its feasibility test. "This is what has now completed its FS (feasible study) with Nindya Karya, Intiland, with IJM. Now this is what we will tender soon. This is all an initiative, unsolicited, but at the right time it will be tendered," said Basuki at the IKN KPBU event at the Ministry of PU, South Jakarta on Monday (24/2/2025).

Basuki explained that the residential project is divided into two stages. In the first stage, OIKN offers two flat projects and one landed house project with a total investment of IDR 8 trillion. This investment is targeted to be realized no later than the second quarter of 2025. Then, in the second stage, OIKN offers two flat projects and one flat and landed house project (mixed used) with a total investment of IDR 23 trillion. The transaction is expected to be achieved no later than mid-year. In addition to the residential sector KPBU, Basuki explained that his party is also targeting KPBU for road construction and Multi Utility Tunnel (MUT) in IKN with an investment value of IDR 70 trillion. There are 9 potential implementing business entities involved in this MUT project, namely Zhengguo, CREC, HEC, IJM, Nindya Karya, Brantas Abipraya, Adhi Karya, Hutama Karya and Sumber Mitra Karya. The KPBU will later be carried out with Availability Payment or the government sharing the risk with the business entity. "There are also some from China, Chinese consortiums, there are IJM, there are some from BUMN. All of these are more than IDR 70 trillion. This is to complement the program that we built with the APBN earlier so as to accelerate road construction in the IKN area," Basuki added.
