The Purbalingga Regency Government has set its 2026 development priorities, focusing on infrastructure improvement, local economic empowerment, human resource development, and digitalizing public services. During the District Development Planning Meeting (Musrenbangcam) for electoral district 1, Head of Bapelitbangda Purbalingga, Kusmartadi, emphasized a collaborative approach, ensuring inclusivity for all community members, including women, the elderly, and people with disabilities. Economic initiatives will prioritize empowering MSMEs and modernizing agriculture through technology to boost productivity despite land limitations.
Additionally, improving education and healthcare remains a top priority to develop high-quality human resources, aligning with President Prabowo Subianto’s vision of human development as a long-term investment. These priorities will be incorporated into the 2026 Regional Government Work Plan (RKPD) under the theme “Collaboration and Innovation in Strengthening Infrastructure and Public Services as the Foundation for Inclusive Economic Growth and Social Resilience while Maintaining Quality Education and Healthcare.” The Musrenbangcam serves as a platform for integrating community proposals into regional development strategies. Deputy Chairperson of the Purbalingga DPRD, Tenny Juliawaty, encouraged active participation, ensuring local aspirations align with the regency’s vision and mission.
