The Ministry of Trade (Kemendag) aims to boost micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSME) exports to USD 18.84 billion in 2025 across 33 target countries. Deputy Minister of Trade Dyah Roro Esti emphasized the role of trade representatives (Perwadag) in identifying export opportunities and facilitating business connections. Through business pitching sessions and international business matching, MSMEs are introduced to potential buyers, with USD 5.22 million in potential transactions recorded in January 2025.
To support market expansion, Kemendag has launched InaExport.id, a digital platform connecting Indonesian exporters with global buyers. Additionally, a strategic partnership with the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) focuses on strengthening supply chains, human resources, and financing access. These initiatives aim to enhance the global competitiveness of Indonesian MSMEs and drive national economic growth.
