Deputy Minister of Trade Dyah Roro Esti and Deputy Minister of State-Owned Enterprises Kartika Wirjoatmodjo discussed the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Trade and the Ministry of SOEs on the synergy for developing and empowering export-ready MSMEs in Jakarta on February 24, 2025. This collaboration aims to boost MSME exports, targeting shipments to 33 countries with a total value of USD 18.84 billion in 2025, marking a projected increase of 12.54% from the previous year.
The initiative reflects the government’s commitment to strengthening Indonesia’s MSME sector by expanding its global market reach. By enhancing export readiness, providing financial support, and leveraging state-owned enterprise networks, the partnership is expected to drive economic growth and improve the competitiveness of local businesses in the international arena.
