The Deputy Minister of Trade, Dyah Roro Esti received a visit from the Special Envoy of the President of the Republic of Indonesia for International Trade and Multilateral Cooperation, Mari Elka Pangestu at the Ministry of Trade Office, Jakarta, on Tuesday (February 25th). The meeting discussed the development of international trade, especially the importance of cooperation between ASEAN member countries in facing global uncertainty. The global uncertainty that occurred was partly influenced by geopolitics and the re-election of Donald Trump as President of the United States. The Deputy Minister of Trade Roro said that the Ministry of Trade continues to strive to expand export markets, one of which is by completing trade agreements with several partner countries and strengthening ASEAN centrality. On that occasion, the Deputy Minister of Trade was accompanied by the Expert Staff of the Minister of Trade for International Relations, Johni Martha.
