On 22 February 2025, Edufarmers International and Pemuda Tani Indonesia organised the 'Agrinnovation Conference 2025' at the Jakarta International Convention Center (JICC), Senayan, Jakarta. The event explored the potential for innovation, policy and cross-sector collaboration to strengthen food security in Indonesia. Attendees included experts, digital pioneers, stakeholders from the agriculture and technology sectors, the Head of the National Food and Nutrition Board, and the Chairman of the National Dairy Council, as well as farmers from various regions in Indonesia. The conference also sought to engage the younger generation and women and encourage the empowerment of the agricultural ecosystem.
The event featured a diverse programme, including panel discussions, talk shows, interactive discussions, and exhibitions showcasing innovations from various agricultural sectors. Notable discussions included 'Driving 8% Economic Growth through Free Nutritious Meal Programme' and 'From Grass to Glass: Can Indonesia Accelerate the Increase in Domestic Milk Production?', which explored strategies to boost domestic milk production, support local farmers, and foster a sustainable dairy industry ecosystem. The Agrinnovation Conference 2025 culminated in two strategic agreements between Bank Republik Indonesia (BRI), Edufarmers and Pemuda Tani Indonesia, with the overarching objective being to enhance the competitiveness and prosperity of Indonesian farmers.
