Deputy Minister of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) Helvi Moraza symbolically released the export of 22 UMKM products to the Philippines. This activity is the result of the actualization of the Capacity Building program in 2024 through the KAMPUS UKM platform with an ecosystem approach and global supply chain. "Today, we are witnessing the release of the first export of products from 22 UMKM to the Philippines including food, fashion, and craft products with a total transaction value of IDR 961 million," said Deputy Minister Helvi while giving a speech at SMESCO, Jakarta, Thursday (20/02/2025). Meanwhile, Deputy for Small Business at the Ministry of UMKM Temmy Satya Permana, said that the shipment of this first export was inseparable from the collaborative support of the Indonesian Export Financing Institution (LPEI) in financing. "The container is planned to be departed on February 22th, 2025, with a 12-day journey to the Philippines. Meanwhile, shipping financing support is facilitated by the Indonesian Export Financing Institution," said Temmy.
The series of activities on the KAMPUS UKM platform focuses on improving the competence and capacity of MSME entrepreneurs, in terms of standardization and certification for MSME products with the tagline Go Standard, Go Digital, Go Export. The KAMPUS UKM activities include webinars, technical guidance, assistance and certification, working papers, and case studies. This is also supported by efforts to bring together selected MSME entrepreneurs with prospective buyers through the Onsite Business Matching (OBM) program. Onsite Business Matching in 2024 will be held twice, the first stage will be held in September 2024 and the second stage will be held in December 2024. The results of the OBM activities that have been recorded in the form of Sales Contracts (SC) in the total transaction in OBM in 2024 is worth USD 612,160 or more than IDR 9.79 billion.
