The Cooperatives, UMKM, Industry and Trade Office (DKUKMPP) of Nunukan Regency will collaborate with Pos Indonesia to serve package delivery from Indonesia to overseas. This service is to support local Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) to develop their businesses and expand their target markets to overseas. Sub Coordinator of Facilitation, Promotion and Guidance for Export Import Actors, DKUKMPP Nunukan Regency Saparudin said that this step will make it easier and open up great opportunities for Nunukan UMKM to penetrate the export market without having to spend a lot of money. "In the near future we will invite PT. Pos Indonesia as a resource person for the socialization of the Export Post program which will be attended by all Nunukan UMKM," said Saparudin (2/19/2025).

Currently, Saparudin said, there are 4 Nunukan MSMEs that have penetrated the export market, with destination countries being Malaysia and Brunei Darussalam, even the original Nunukan coffee bean product that was once promoted in Egypt during a trade mission some time ago, has attracted the interest of buyers in that country. With this program, Nunukan MSMEs can develop quickly, later their products will be easy to export at a low cost, it's just a matter of how the packaging and taste will be updated, so it's more modern," added Sapar.
Currently, Pos Indonesia has established export shipping cooperation with 229 countries around the world. This cooperation is expected to help MSMEs in Indonesia to penetrate the export market. PT Pos Indonesia is also working with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to strengthen connectivity and supply chains by strengthening the logistics ecosystem for Indonesian business actors abroad. This synergy is also in order to support MSMEs and BUMN Go-Global.
