The South Tangerang City Government, through the Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services Agency (DPMPTSP), has announced a 14% increase in investment realization for 2024, reaching IDR 8.48 trillion, surpassing the initial target of IDR 7.4 trillion set in the Regional Government Work Plan (RKPD).
DPMPTSP Head, Maulana Prayoga, highlighted that domestic investment (PMDN) contributed IDR 7.66 trillion, while foreign investment (PMA) reached IDR 816 billion. The largest sectors driving this growth were healthcare, education, and other services (IDR 2.5 trillion), followed by transportation, warehousing, and telecommunications (IDR 2.04 trillion). Additionally, housing, industrial zones, and office spaces contributed IDR 1.46 trillion, with trade, repairs, hotels, and restaurants further strengthening the city's investment appeal. This achievement reinforces South Tangerang's status as a prime investment destination with a dynamic and investor-friendly environment.
