ISPE 2025 Held for Fifth Time, Strengthening Sustainable Goods and Services Procurement Ecosystem in Indonesia

On 11-12 February 2025, the Indonesia Sustainable Procurement Expo (ISPE) 2025 was held, organised by the National Electronic Catalogue Association (AKEN), an organisation that houses Electronic Catalogue industry players under the National Public Procurement Agency (LKPP). This event is the primary platform for the transformation of sustainable procurement in Indonesia, as well as a forum for sharing insights and innovations in the national procurement ecosystem. The event is supported by the LKPP, the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Indonesia, the Ministry of Communication and Digital of the Republic of Indonesia, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia, as well as a number of industry organisations and business associations.

ISPE's sustainability as a strategic event in supporting a transparent and efficient procurement ecosystem was further emphasised by the event's notable attendance, including 2,500 visitors, 50 exhibitor companies, including micro, small and medium enterprises, and 40 speakers in 15 seminar sessions. The main Business Matching session brought together more than 150 participants, enabling strategic collaboration between government and business to accelerate more responsible and sustainable procurement. The highlight of ISPE 2025 was the awarding of the Procurement Award 2025 to the agency with the highest Domestic Product (PDN) transaction in 2024. The ministry category was won by the Ministry of Health; the province category was won by East Java; the district category was won by Kebumen; and the city category was won by Banjarbaru.
