South Korean company LNG Korea Co., Ltd has signed a cooperation agreement in the energy and investment sectors with PT Charlotte Zeno Indonesia (CZI). This partnership is expected to positively impact the energy sector while also creating new job opportunities for the local community. The agreement was signed by Chiquita Quireen, President Director of PT Charlotte Zeno Indonesia, Lee Jae Hyun, President Director of LNG Korea, and Song Min Ho, Executive Vice President of Korea Gas Technology Corporation.
Chiquita Quireen highlighted that the investment in renewable energy projects in Indonesia has already led to the creation of jobs and the development of local communities. Additionally, these projects contribute to reducing carbon emissions and improving environmental quality. Lee Jae Hyun emphasized the collaboration's role in advancing clean energy and carbon capture and storage (CCS) technology, aiming to achieve the target of net-zero emissions by 2060. Song Min Ho also noted the project’s importance in ensuring stable and environmentally friendly gas supply while expanding the energy supply chain to support national development.
