Indonesia and South Korea have established a strong bilateral relationship, especially in the field of investment. South Korea has become a strategic partner for Indonesia in developing its natural resources. The collaboration between the two countries has resulted in innovations that support sustainable development. Both governments have implemented policies that foster cooperation in the renewable energy sector, alongside regulations and incentives to attract foreign investments. South Korea also encourages its companies to participate in international projects, including those in Indonesia.
This partnership has led to a collaboration between South Korean company LNG Korea Co., Ltd and PT Charlotte Zeno Indonesia (CZI), marked by the signing of a cooperation agreement on energy and investment in Indonesia on February 14, 2025, in Bali Room, Hotel Indonesia Kempinski, Jakarta. The agreement ceremony was attended by Chiquita Quireen, President Director of PT Charlotte Zeno Indonesia, Lee Jae Hyun, President Director of LNG Korea Co., Ltd, and Song Min Ho, Executive Vice President of Korea Gas Technology Corporation. This collaboration not only positively impacts the energy sector but also opens opportunities for broader community development, aiming for a greener future through innovative projects and advanced technology.
