PT. Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BNI is committed to supporting Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to move up a class to be able to go global through the BNI Xpora program. BNI Corporate Secretary, Okki Rushartomo, said that BNI Xpora is a BNI program to strengthen the export-oriented MSME ecosystem that aims to Go Productive, Go Digital, and Go Global. This program also makes it easier for the Indonesian diaspora who work as entrepreneurs abroad to get products from Indonesia. By the end of December 2024, BNI's total outstanding export-oriented business credit reached IDR 33.6 trillion to 18,432 debtors. The value of trade transactions reached IDR 108.04 trillion. "In the future, BNI will continue to support more export-oriented MSMEs so that they can contribute more to the national economy," said Okki in a press release.
Tempeh producer PT. Azaki Food Internasional is one of the MSMEs included in the BNI Xpora program. Azaki Food, which has been established since 2005 in Bogor, has successfully transformed until its products have penetrated the export market to 10 countries thanks to the support of BNI Xpora. Azaki Food Director, Cucup Ruhiyat, revealed that his tempeh business was originally called Rumah Tempe Azaki. Then, in 2019, his business continued to grow and changed its name to PT Azaki Food Internasional (PT AFI). Azaki Food continues to expand to penetrate the global market by carrying out various innovations, fulfilling international certifications, and strengthening management. "Today, Azaki Tempeh products have dominated almost the entire modern market in Jabodetabek and have been exported to 10 countries in the world, from Hong Kong, Japan, to the United States," said Cucup. Cucup continued that the BNI Xpora program, which he has known since 2021, has contributed to the development of his business. BNI Xpora not only provides benefits to his business, but also to other MSMEs.
