The Chairman of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) Anindya Bakrie said that Indonesia and the United Kingdom are interested in working together in the infrastructure sector. Anindya said that in a meeting with British representatives in Jakarta, Tuesday, the two countries discussed the potential for cooperation in the infrastructure sector. "The infrastructure was also discussed for the United Kingdom, because after all, there are many infrastructures that are currently being collaborated on," said Anindya.
He also said that Indonesia and the United Kingdom have many potential cooperations that can be developed, such as the energy sector including new and renewable energy (EBT), energy finance and also health. In terms of health, cooperation with the United Kingdom can be increased, especially now that Indonesia has a free health check program. In addition, there is also collaboration to train nurses. Furthermore, said Anindya, the United Kingdom is interested in the Daya Anagata Nusantara Investment Management Agency (BPI Danantara). "They are also paying attention to Danantara, which they said will be announced at the end of the month. Because after all, there are assets, they said, there are seven large assets that produce dividends, and of course, what the government will do in Danantara is a special note and they are taking it seriously," he said.
