Investment Minister and Head of the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM), Rosan Roeslani, invited stakeholders attending the 2025 World Economic Forum (WEF) to collaborate with Indonesia in achieving its Net Zero Emission (NZE) target by 2060. "We certainly want to collaborate and synergize with different stakeholders, especially to support Indonesia's commitment to achieving net zero emissions by 2060 or even earlier," Rosan stated during the opening of Indonesia’s pavilion at WEF 2025 in Davos, Switzerland, on Tuesday.
Rosan also took the opportunity to introduce Indonesia’s coffee and traditional cuisine to the attendees at the pavilion opening. He highlighted President Prabowo Subianto's vision for Indonesia to become more actively involved in international events, both with multiple nations and bilateral engagements. "This shows that Indonesia is becoming more present in the global arena," Rosan added. He emphasized that participation in WEF 2025 is part of Indonesia's effort to strengthen its image regarding sustainable investments, with the goal of attracting global investors who share the vision of advancing sustainable investment opportunities in Indonesia.
