Indonesia recorded exports to Zimbabwe worth USD 5.15 million as of December 2023. This represents a significant decrease of 9.07% compared to the previous year’s exports, which were valued at USD 5.67 million. However, over the past decade, trade between Indonesia and Zimbabwe has generally shown an upward trend. The lowest recorded export value was USD 1.61 million, while the highest was USD 5.67 million.
Among the 97 products (classified by HS two-digit codes) exported to Zimbabwe, 35 products had a value exceeding one billion USD. Data from Trademap reveals that 17 key products are consistently exported to Zimbabwe every year, highlighting their importance in Indonesia’s trade with the country. Many of these products are also exported to other nations. Among the top five export products to Zimbabwe, animal and vegetable fats and oils topped the list, with a total export value of USD 3.84 million. Other key exports include printed books, newspapers, industrial filaments, plastics, and paper products. Notably, the value of each product has shown varying trends, with some experiencing growth while others have seen declines.
