Banjarmasin Targeted to Attract Investment of IDR 1.9 Trillion in 2025

Head of the Investment and Integrated One-Stop Service Office of Banjarmasin City, South Kalimantan, Ariyani said that this region is targeted to attract investment of up to IDR 1.9 trillion in 2025. This investment target is in accordance with that set by the provincial government. This target is still the same as last year, therefore it meets the target according to the target. Based on last year in investment, the potential for investment growth in 2025 is still in the services and trade sectors. This city is known as a city of trade and services, besides that tourism is also starting to grow. The sector which is still an investment idol is warehousing, because this city has a seaport, namely the Trisakti Banjarmasin Port. South Banjarmasin area not far from the port as a warehousing area. The busy business is investment in the freight or logistics business, besides hotels and restaurants. Ariyani is optimistic that Banjarmasin can achieve the target set by the provincial government, because this City is very friendly to investors that give the ease of managing their permits.

As reported by the Ministry of Investment/Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) and the list of Investment Activity Reports (LKPM) of South Kalimantan 2024 from 8,255 Domestic Capital Investment (PMDN) projects, Banjarmasin City is the highest in South Kalimantan. Banjarmasin City has 2,056 projects, then Banjar Regency with 1,320 projects and Banjarbaru City with 1,096 projects.
