Motorcycle sales figures abroad or exports in December 2024 recorded 55,537 units. This achievement was minus 5.6% on a monthly basis (month to month/mtm) compared to November 2024 which was 58,868 units. Compared to December 2023 which reached 42,737 units, the achievement in the same period this year increased by 29.9 % (year on year/yoy). Reporting from AISI data on January 2025, Indonesia's motorcycle export figures throughout January-December 2024 recorded 572,506 units.
The export figures for automatic scooters have apparently decreased compared to the previous period, which reached a composition of 52.53%, or around 299,423 units. Meanwhile, Underbone or cub motorcycles rose from the previous 23.32 percent or around 132,924 units, to 25.48 %or around 145,874 units. Meanwhile, sports motorbikes also rose to 24.45 %or around 139,977 units, from the previous 24.15 %or around 137,655 units.
