The Ministry of Public Works ( PU ) revealed that it will continue to boost the Government and Business Entity Cooperation ( KPBU ) investment scheme to support infrastructure development in the era of President Prabowo Subianto. The Director General (Dirjen) of Infrastructure Financing at the Ministry of Public Works, Triono Junoasmono (Yongki) expressed that the government will increase the KPBU target from the original IDR 440 million to IDR 700 million. He explained when met at the Coordinating Ministry for Infrastructure and Regional Development (IPK) Office. Dirjen of Infrastructure Financing was preparing a number of infrastructure projects that would be worked on using the KPBU scheme. And the number of toll road projects that would be included in it.
One example is the longest toll road in Bali, namely the Gilimanuk - Mengwi Toll Road. Then, there is also the Gede Bage - Tasikmalaya - Cilacap (Getaci) Toll Road which will be prioritized for construction up to Ciamis. In the connectivity sector in 2025, the Ministry of Public Works is targeting the construction of 139 km of roads, 5,510 m of bridges, 336 m of flyovers/underpasses, 20.52 km of toll roads, and the preservation of 1,545 km of roads and 122,568 m of bridges. Meanwhile, in the water resources sector, the government is targeting the construction of 16 dams, 10,000 ha of irrigation networks, rehabilitation of 45,000 irrigation networks, 1.5 m3/second of raw water infrastructure, and 40 km of flood control and coastal protection structures. Then, in the creative sector, namely the construction and improvement of SPAM in 7 districts/cities, LPK sanitation (4,950 families), development of industrial areas in 3 locations (130 ha), arrangement of tourism areas (3 ha) and PISEW 900 ha, and sports infrastructure in 3 cities (3 units).
