Salt production in Pati Regency during 2024 reached 324,036.10 tons. Functional Supervisor of Marine and Fisheries Product Quality at the Pati Regency Marine and Fisheries Service (DKP), Ari Wibowo said that this achievement was inseparable from the long dry season with the dry season category. The target is 200 thousand tons. But it could exceed this to 324 thousand tons. The time for processing salt land, greatly affects the total salt produced. As for a small number of salt farmers, yesterday it started processing the land right in April so that in May they could enjoy the results.The sub-district with the most salt production was Batangan Sub-district which is the largest area compared to other districts.

The district with the highest production that the salt farmers have determined to be the center for Pati Regency is still Batangan District, because the heat of the sun starts from the east area. Furthermore, salt production in Pati Regency always increases every year. In 2023, the salt production reached 251,263.86 tons and in 2014 reached 324 thousand tons. Up, because in 2024 the heat was scorching hot. So that production is maximal.
