The Indonesian Capital City Authority (OIKN) said that as many as 40 plots of land covering 52,000 hectares in the Indonesian Capital City (IKN) have been allocated for investors. Head of OIKN, Basuki Hadimuljono, said that the 40 plots of land were also used for the development of the State Palace area. It has been recorded that 40 plots of land have been allocated to investors and the State Palace, with land certificates covering an area of 52,000 hectares. To continue to maintain the investment ecosystem in the IKN, Basuki admitted to continuing to prioritize legality as a form of investment certainty in the project worth IDR 466 trillion.
One of them is to collaborate with the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) to ensure assets under management that will be occupied by investors. Until 2024, the IKN Authority recorded an investment realization of IDR 58.4 trillion collected from eight groundbreaking processes. OIKN initially targeted to park investment in the IKN to reach IDR 100 trillion by 2024, but now it's only IDR 58 trillion [until 2024]. Later there will be an additional IDR 6.5 trillion. The wave of investment of IDR 6.5 trillion that will enter the IKN in the near future is said to come from 4 to 5 domestic and foreign companies. Based on the sector, the first IKN investor in the era of President Prabowo Subianto is said to be building hotels, schools, restaurants, and office areas.
