Since he became Minister of ESDM many changes have been made in the ministry, one of which is an effort to increase oil lifting. In September (2024) we made adjustments, daily production was approximately 580 thousand, 575 thousand to 580 thousand barrels per day. This will be a good wind for us to enter the target in 2025 (605 barrels per day). He is optimistic that the target can be achieved.

 His party is taking various mutually beneficial steps between the Oil and Gas Cooperation Contract Contractors (K3S Migas) and the Government, so that the target can be achieved. Bahlil has often emphasized the importance of increasing oil lifting to achieve national energy sovereignty.It is very crucial because it will support economic growth and reduce Indonesia's dependence on energy imports.
