The Acting Regent of Minahasa, Noudy R.P. Tendean, stated that the Zoning Plan for the Tondano Lake Area (RDTR) plays a strategic role in attracting investors. He made this statement during the socialization event for Minahasa Regent Regulation No. 15 of 2023 on the RDTR for the Tondano Lake Area, held on Friday (20/12/2024) at the Minahasa Regent's Office. "Investors who wish to invest around Tondano Lake must refer to this RDTR. We hope that incoming investments will accelerate development in this area," said Tendean.

He also mentioned that six private investors have already expressed interest in investing in Minahasa. The Regent urged the public to support these efforts by providing space and opportunities for investors. Minahasa's Public Works Department Head, Daudson E.A. Rombon, ST, added that the RDTR for the Tondano Lake Area had been developed in accordance with the Ministry of Home Affairs' guidelines and is integrated with the Online Single Submission (OSS) system. "This regulation ensures that development is not only well-planned but also environmentally friendly. The goal is for the Tondano Lake area to grow rapidly without compromising environmental sustainability," said Daudson. The RDTR serves as a guideline for development and investment while also ensuring a balance between the area's growth and the conservation of Tondano Lake, which is a vital asset for Minahasa.
