South Kalimantan Governor H. Muhidin has officially handed over the 2025 Budget Implementation List (DIPA) and Transfer Allocation to Regions (TKD) for the 2025 Fiscal Year (FY). On this occasion, Syafriadi, Head of the Kalsel Regional Office of the Directorate General of Treasury (DJPb), presented the fiscal performance report for 2024. As of the third quarter of 2024, South Kalimantan's economy grew by 5.23% year-on-year, surpassing the national growth rate of 4.95%. Syafriadi noted that as of December 13, 2024, the region’s state budget (APBN) performance reached Rp37.72 trillion, an increase of 24.46% from the previous year. This includes IDR 8.77 trillion in government spending and IDR 28.96 trillion in regional transfer expenditures. Furthermore, several South Kalimantan ministries and agencies ranked in the top five nationally, including the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs, BKKBN, BNN, and others.
Syafriadi also highlighted several achievements in South Kalimantan, such as the accreditation of the Banjarbaru Industrial Service Standardization Center (BSPJI) as a Halal Inspection Agency (LPH) and the Bhayangkara Hospital in Banjarmasin, which ranks second nationwide inpatient services. The 2025 national budget has been agreed at IDR 3.621 trillion, a rise of 8.9% from 2024, with a portion directed toward key government priorities like education, healthcare, social protection, food security, and housing. In South Kalimantan, the allocated APBN for 2025 is IDR 38.7 trillion, accounting for 1.07% of the national budget. The region will also receive IDR 27.89 trillion in TKD, with the highest increase in Tabalong Regency. Governor Muhidin emphasized that the APBN is a vital tool in achieving national goals of justice and public welfare, urging all parties to ensure these funds are utilized effectively and on time.
