Minister of Investment and Downstreaming, Rosan Roeslani, stated that many U.S. investors have confidence in Indonesia’s economic growth. He made this statement while accompanying President Prabowo Subianto in hosting 50 business leaders from the U.S.-ASEAN Business Council (US-ABC) at the State Palace. "We are very pleased that over 50 companies from the U.S. came to the Palace today to meet with us because they are confident in Indonesia's economic growth in the future," said Rosan at the State Palace in Jakarta on Tuesday (December 3, 2024).

Rosan mentioned that most of the U.S. entrepreneurs present have already invested in Indonesia, and they are eager to increase their investments. According to Rosan, these investors are reassured by Indonesia’s success in maintaining peace and economic stability. "That’s one of Indonesia's core strengths. At the same time, they are very confident in the leadership of President [Joko Widodo], which gives them greater comfort," he said. Rosan also noted that the business trip to the U.S. had further boosted their confidence, particularly with the new U.S. administration under President Donald Trump. The U.S. business leaders are set to spend several days in Indonesia, meeting with various ministers from the "Red and White Cabinet" and national entrepreneurs. "They want to see the improved investment climate here," he added.
