PT Berkat Cawan Milenial (BCM) has secured a major export agreement with Guang Tong Shi Pin in China, marking a significant milestone for Indonesia’s agricultural sector. The first shipment, scheduled for January 2025, includes corn, tapioca, and konjac flour—commodities chosen for their high global demand. This initiative supports Indonesia’s broader strategy under President Prabowo Subianto to achieve food self-sufficiency by 2027 through local production enhancement and targeted nutritional programs. BCM’s exports align with national efforts to bolster food security while increasing foreign exchange earnings and enhancing the global presence of Indonesian agricultural products.
Via Amalia, CEO of BCM, emphasized the dual benefits of this collaboration, noting its potential to strengthen Indonesia’s global market position and uplift local farmers. BCM’s operations prioritize sustainability, efficiency, and quality, leveraging advanced supply chain innovations to ensure product freshness and reduce logistics costs. The company collaborates with PT Rajawali Nusindo (RNI) and international partners in China to expand its distribution network, ensuring adherence to international standards. These efforts not only boost Indonesia’s agricultural competitiveness but also promote local empowerment and environmental sustainability, cementing the country’s role in the global food market.
