The economy of Jakarta in the third quarter of 2024 grew by 4.93 percent compared to the same period in 2023. This growth occurred across almost all sectors, with the largest contributors being the Wholesale and Retail Trade, and Motor Vehicle and Motorcycle Repair sectors, which recorded the highest growth at 7.99 percent. This increase was driven by higher domestic and import goods supply. Additionally, the Education Services, Financial Services, and Other Services sectors also experienced significant growth, with respective increases of 6.97 percent, 6.09 percent, and 6.09 percent.
