The Fashion and Creative Industry Empowerment Center (BPIFK) is organizing the Investasi & Sinergi Produk IKM Nusantara (INSPIRA 2024) event on November 9-10, 2024, in Jakarta. This initiative seeks to strengthen Indonesia's Small and Medium Industries (IKM) sector, a vital driver of the economy in the lead-up to the “Golden Indonesia 2045” vision. As part of the Creative Business Incubator (CBI) program, INSPIRA 2024 aims to expand IKM businesses in fashion and crafts by facilitating funding access and promoting business growth. The event is expected to bridge IKM players with potential investors, helping them widen their networks and receive guidance from experts to enhance business quality and capacity.
According to Reni Yanita, Director General of Small, Medium, and Miscellaneous Industries at the Ministry of Industry, Indonesia's creative economy export value reached a notable US$12.36 billion in the first half of 2024, a 4.46% increase compared to the same period in 2023. Fashion, crafts, and culinary are the leading contributors to this growth, underscoring the sector's impact on the national economy. To maintain and increase this momentum, Reni emphasized the need for continuous improvement in innovation and creativity, as well as effective business management skills. INSPIRA 2024’s agenda includes talk shows on funding models for IKM, followed by workshops and coaching on pitch deck preparation and presentation techniques, culminating in an Investor Meet session.
