Central Kalimantan is increasingly recognized as a promising region for investment in Indonesia. Andrianto Suhada, Head of PUJK Behavior Supervision, Consumer Education and Protection, and Strategic Management Services, emphasized the importance of financial education in leveraging the current investment opportunities in Indonesia. He noted that Central Kalimantan offers substantial investment potential in both production and non-production sectors. "Investment opportunities are very open here, with significant potential across various sectors," Andrianto said during a dialogue at RRI PalangkaRaya on 5 November 2024. However, he cautioned that investors should approach cautiously, prioritizing basic knowledge and understanding of investments.
Andrianto advised prospective investors to carefully analyze all available options, stressing the importance of portfolio diversification to mitigate risk. “Whatever investment is available, we must study it first. Education is critical; understanding basic investment principles and building a balanced portfolio are essential,” he added. He urged investors not to concentrate all their capital in one area, advocating for diversification as a key strategy to ensure portfolio stability. His remarks highlight the importance of prudent financial management while exploring opportunities in developing regions like Central Kalimantan, where cautious, well-informed investment can yield significant returns.
