Bea Cukai, through its vertical units Bea Cukai Bekasi and Bea Cukai Malang, continues to push for regional economic growth by empowering micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). This is achieved by providing assistance and socialization regarding export procedures. On Thursday (20/09), Bea Cukai Bekasi collaborated with Radio Elganga 100.3 FM in Bekasi City to offer insights and strategies for MSMEs aiming to penetrate international markets. During the radio broadcast, they invited successful exporter Nurjannah Dongoran from CV Ikapeksi Agro Industri to share her experiences. "The knowledge I gained from Bea Cukai about export procedures and international marketing is invaluable. I hope more MSME players are inspired to expand and introduce our local products to the world," Nurjannah stated.
On Wednesday (18/09), Bea Cukai Malang, along with relevant agencies, organized an event titled "SIINas Socialization for Industrial Business Players" to assist MSME exporters. This socialization event was attended by 180 business players in the Malang Regency area. "We hope this socialization can encourage MSMEs to realize their exports soon. For further guidance, the Export Clinic of Bea Cukai Malang is ready to assist MSMEs," said Dwi Prasetyo Rini, Head of the Extension and Information Services Section of Bea Cukai Malang. Dwi explained that through the Export Clinic program, Bea Cukai has strategic steps to support MSME empowerment, including education on export customs procedures, literacy on export-related regulations, assistance to solve obstacles faced by MSMEs, socialization of customs facilities and procedures, and coordination with relevant ministries/agencies. "Synergy and collaboration between agencies play an important role in MSME empowerment to ensure they are directed and coordinated. By empowering MSMEs, it is hoped that economic resilience can be strengthened for quality and equitable growth," concluded Dwi.
