Gunawan Batubara, a 21-year-old Room Service staff at Hotel Santika Dyandra, Medan, met important guests from across Indonesia, broadening his professional outlook. He viewed the event as a valuable networking opportunity for his future. Similarly, Ignasius Thomas, a Quality Control employee at PT Aerofood ACS Kualanamu Airport, volunteered for PON XXI, assisting athletes with media interactions. This experience enhanced his communication and management skills, supporting his career advancement. Annisa O. Napitupulu, a freelance Event Organizer, worked at the Media Center PON XXI, gaining valuable experience relevant to her career and expanding her professional network.
