He expressed gratitude for the positive and sustainable economic impact on residents' welfare, particularly strengthening local economic sectors like micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). Nurkholis also thanked the sponsors who supported various events that concluded on Sunday night. Over ten days, various attractions were displayed at the city square and other locations. He mentioned that the activities during Probolinggo's anniversary celebration encouraged MSMEs to be more creative, whether in culinary products or other goods, thus increasing the income of MSME operators. One of the key events was the cultural parade, an annual agenda by the Probolinggo City Government to support the tourism sector and boost tourist visits, thereby enhancing the economy and the welfare of Probolinggo’s residents. A representative of MSMEs from Mayangan District, Iin, expressed her gratitude for the increase in her business turnover during the anniversary events centered at the city square. "Not only the public but also Mr. Nurkholis purchased my products during his visit to several stands at the Culinary Festival," she said. The culinary festival and MSME product showcase also enlivened Probolinggo City's anniversary at the city square, allowing the community to enjoy entertainment while purchasing available MSME and culinary products at various stands.
