PT Vaksindo Satwa Nusantara (Vaksindo) and PT Agrinusa Jaya Santosa (AJS), subsidiaries of PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk (JAPFA), have officially exported their veterinary products, including vaccines, vitamins, and medicines, to eight Asian countries. Notably, the Philippines and Malaysia are new markets for these products, with the total export value for August 2024 reaching USD 1.4 million, equivalent to IDR 22 billion. According to Teguh Prajitno, Head of SBU Animal Health and Livestock Equipment at Japfa, this year, they successfully opened new markets for their vaccine brand Vaksimune and livestock vitamins. In addition to the first shipment to the Philippines, Vaksimune was also exported to Nigeria, Cameroon, Myanmar, Malaysia, Vietnam, India, and the UAE. Moreover, premix animal feed was also shipped to Myanmar, marking a significant achievement in enhancing poultry health both nationally and globally. The products are designed to protect animals from diseases and improve poultry productivity, with innovations based on extensive research tailored to the specific virus conditions in Southeast Asia, differing from international vaccine standards.
The high-quality standards of these products are maintained through the implementation of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System, ISO 17025:2017 laboratory accreditation, and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP). Additionally, Vaksindo's facility is equipped with a Biosafety Level-3 (BSL-3) laboratory, ensuring stringent safety measures and adequate research facilities. During the export release event at PT Agrinusa Jaya Santosa Plant in Klapanunggal, West Java, Teguh emphasized the importance of these products in preventing common poultry diseases in Southeast Asia. Furthermore, AJS's production of premix vitamins plays a crucial role in enhancing feed quality and poultry health by providing the right mix of minerals and vitamins to meet nutritional needs. The company ensures that its products adhere to high-quality standards, contributing significantly to the stability and growth of the poultry industry in the region.
