The Vietnam Manufacturing Expo 2024, themed "SUSTAINOVATION," gathered industry leaders and innovators from around the globe to showcase the latest advancements in manufacturing technology. PT Kawasan Industri Terpadu Batang (KITB) played a prominent role, demonstrating its pioneering spirit by introducing Virtual Reality (VR) technology at the event. Held from 7 to 9 August, KITB provided visitors with a unique experience by presenting its strategically located industrial area in Central Java, Indonesia. Through VR, attendees could explore KITB's advanced facilities and future infrastructure, gaining insight into how this area is poised to become a modern manufacturing hub, blending intelligence, sustainability, and efficiency.
The VR experience not only impressed visitors but also captivated investors, who saw firsthand the significant potential KITB offers. A major success of KITB's participation in the expo was the establishment of a strategic partnership with Donga Webbing, a South Korean company with a strong manufacturing presence in Vietnam. Donga Webbing recognized the strategic advantages and capabilities of KITB in Southeast Asia and decided to expand its business in the region. "We are proud to form a partnership with Donga Webbing, which will open significant opportunities for collaboration and innovation in the region," said KITB's Director of Marketing and Development, Indri Septa Respati, on Monday, 19 August 2024. This investment decision by Donga Webbing marks a new chapter in international collaboration, offering substantial opportunities for technology exchange and joint development. The partnership not only signifies significant economic growth but also strengthens KITB's position as a premier investment destination in Southeast Asia. KITB continues to establish itself as a leader in the Industry 4.0 era, offering an industrial area that is both future-ready and attractive to global investors seeking opportunities in rapidly developing regions.
