"As of today, I must inform you that investments outside of the state budget have already reached IDR 56.2 trillion," President Jokowi stated. He also highlighted that 55 investors have already begun groundbreaking activities. These investors span various sectors, including six in education, three in healthcare, ten in retail and logistics, eight in hospitality, fourteen in offices and banking, nine in housing and green areas, and three in media and technology.

The President emphasized that Nusantara’s economy will focus on green and digital economies, aligning with the city’s vision. "The economy we will develop in Nusantara is a green economy, a digital economy, supported by data centers, financial centers, and more," he added. Jokowi reiterated that the relocation to Nusantara is not merely a physical move but a shift in mindset, work patterns, and mobility. He pointed out that mobility in the new capital will be entirely based on electric vehicles and powered by green energy. The buildings are designed as green buildings, and accessibility will prioritize pedestrians and cyclists. This significant investment and focus on sustainable development underscore the government’s commitment to creating a modern, environmentally friendly capital city that will serve as a model for future urban planning in Indonesia.
