Indo Healthcare Gakeslab Expo 2024 was officially opened by the Minister of Health, Budi Gunadi Sadikin, on Wednesday, July 31, 2024. The exhibition, organized by Krista Exhibitions in collaboration with the Association of Medical and Laboratory Equipment Entrepreneurs (GAKESLAB), will be held for three days until August 2, 2024, at JIEXPO, Kemayoran, Jakarta. Daud D. Salim, CEO of Krista Exhibitions, stated that the development of medical device technology in Indonesia has significantly contributed to improving medical services and the overall welfare of the Indonesian population. This 14th edition of the exhibition serves as a platform for communication and collaboration, as well as showcasing new tools and innovations in the healthcare sector. "Through this exhibition, it is hoped that Indonesia's healthcare sector will continue to advance and be able to face various health challenges in the future," Daud said during the opening ceremony of Indo Healthcare Gakeslab Expo 2024 in Jakarta on Wednesday, July 31, 2024.
He added that this year's Indo Healthcare Gakeslab Expo 2024 is attended by 120 companies, including 10 small and medium enterprises (SMEs) from eight countries, namely New Zealand, China, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, Indonesia, and Taiwan. The exhibition will also feature various Forum Group Discussions with up-to-date topics, business matching, and business networking specifically designed to connect stakeholders from upstream to downstream. Daud mentioned that Indo Healthcare Gakeslab Expo 2024 is supported by central government entities such as the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Industry, the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, GAKESLAB, and various professional organizations and associations related to the healthcare sector. Minister of Health, Budi Gunadi Sadikin, appreciated the initiative of holding Indo Healthcare Expo 2024. According to him, Indonesia has great potential in building the country's healthcare ecosystem.
